The Cyberspace Leaders Program 2026 equips students with essential digital safety, cybersecurity awareness, artificial intelligence literacy, and responsible technology-use skills — all within a safe and supervised learning environment.

Practical habits to stay secure online, protect personal data, and recognise scams, phishing and social-engineering threats.

Cybersecurity Awareness

Understand how attackers think and how defenders respond — through realistic, supervised cybersecurity simulations.

AI Literacy

Demystify artificial intelligence and learn to use emerging technology responsibly, ethically and creatively.

Critical Thinking

Team-based challenges that sharpen problem-solving, logical reasoning and decision-making under pressure.

Gamified Competitions

Certificate of Participation

Every student who successfully completes the program receives an official DESC Certificate of Participation.

Frequently Asked Questions

General Programme Questions

The program is open to students aged 14 to 18. No prior cybersecurity experience is required — both beginners and enthusiasts are welcome.

It is a five-day summer camp combining hands-on workshops, simulations, gamified competitions and a graduation ceremony.

6–10 July 2026 at Dubai Cyber Innovation Park — Bay Square.

The program is free of charge.

The program will be delivered in English. Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue.

Registration

Complete the participant registration form here. You'll be asked for your child's personal details, your contact information, emergency contacts and medical information, along with a copy of your child's Emirates ID.

A copy of your child's Emirates ID is required at the time of registration.

Yes. The registration form simply asks whether your child has previously attended a DESC program or cybersecurity camp, but prior attendance is not a requirement or a barrier to registering.

Program Content & Activities

Participants will learn how to protect their digital identity, recognise cyber threats, use AI responsibly and stay safe online — through interactive games, cyber simulations, team challenges, digital investigations, coding activities and hands-on cybersecurity labs.

Yes. Participants will use computers and supervised online platforms to complete activities, explore cybersecurity tools, take part in simulations and apply their learning in a safe and controlled environment.

Yes. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive an official Certificate of Participation from DESC.

Safety & Supervision

All activities are conducted in a safe, secure and supervised environment under the guidance of authorized program staff. In the event of a medical emergency, parents or guardians will be contacted immediately and appropriate medical care will be arranged if required.

Medical & Special Needs

Please provide details of any allergies, medical conditions, medications, dietary requirements, accessibility needs or learning-support requirements in the registration form so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

Communication & Consent

DESC will use the contact details provided in the registration form to share program updates, schedules, reminders and important announcements.

Photographs, videos and other media may be captured during the program for documentation, reporting and promotional purposes. You will be asked to either authorize or decline the use of your child's image when completing the registration form.
